• Today State government made 30 IAS transfered
• A K Sinha, a 1976 batch IAS officer, will serve as the chief secretary till further orders after taking charge from the incumbent Naveen Kumar who retires from service on August 31 
• Principal secretary (Panchayati Raj) Phul Singh has been made the new development commissioner.
• State planning commissioner adviser Anil Kumar has been appointed the chief adviser, while principal secretary (Industries) Alok Kumar Sinha has been transferred and made the agriculture production commissioner
• Principal secretary (Water Resources) Afzal Amanullah has been directed to hold the additional charge as the principal secretary (Industries).
• Principal secretary (Agriculture) Anjani Kumar Singh has been transferred and made the principal secretary (Cabinet secretariat).
• Tirhut division commissioner SK Negi has been transferred and made the Patna divisional commissioner, while additional departmental investigation commissioner Amitabh Verma has been made the principal secretary (Panchayati Raj).
• Principal secretary (Parliamentary Affairs) has been upgraded in the pay scale of Rs 80,000 with effect from September this year and made the additional departmental investigation commissioner.
